Effect of L-leucine uptake inhibitor on whole-genome transcriptomic profile of Mtb mc2 6206

ABSTRACT: The main objective of this study is to analyze changes in whole-genome transcriptomic profile of mc2 6206 strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv after treatment with a drug which blocks L-leucine uptake. By RNASeq, it was observed that total 482 transcripts are differentially regulated by >2-fold in three biological replicates with p value of <0.05 (FDR of 1%). While 251 genes were downregulated, expression of 231 genes was induced.
