Liver gene expression of rats intoxicated with pure fumonisin B1

ABSTRACT: Purified fumonisin B1 (FB1) mycotoxin was intraperitoneally administered at the no observed adverse effect level (NOAEL, 0.2 mg/kg bw/day, group 1X) and 5 and 10-times above (5X and 10X) to male rats, in a controlled (group C), 5-day study (n=8/group, total n=32), to study in vivo hepatotoxic effects.
