Neuregulin-1β treatment augments compensatory remodeling and ameliorates cardiac function during pressure overload


ABSTRACT: Purpose: This study investigates the impact of NRG1 on the cardiac adaptation to pressure overload and analyzes the underlying mechanisms. Methods: Male C57BL/6NRj mice underwent sham or transverse aortic constriction (TAC) surgery, received minipumps with either saline or NRG1 and were followed by echocardiography and BRB-seq analysis. Results: NRG1-induced functional improvement of the heart after TAC.
