KSHV-infected endothelial cells expand and up-regulate angiogenic pathways and CXCR4 in patient-derived Kaposi sarcoma models


ABSTRACT: Here, we characterize eight KS tumors and four patient-derived KS xenografts (PDXs) in immunodeficient NOD/SCID/gamma (NSG) mice.Digital spatial profiling transcriptome analysis revealed increased expression of CXCR4 in the LANA+ endothelial cells of tumor regions compared to the levels in uninfected vessel regions.
