Human amygdala-like telencephalic organoids from Pluripotent Stem Cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The amygdala, a key region in the limbic system, is central to regulating emotion, memory, stress, and social behaviors. However, studying its functions has been challenging due to the lack of reliable in vitro models. Here, we developed amygdala-like telencephalic organoids (hATOs) from pluripotent stem cells, recapitulating the cellular composition, molecular features, and functional properties of the amygdala.
