ABSTRACT: The transcription factor ISL1 regulates a unique set of genes in retinal ganglion cells. KEGG Pathway analysis of differentially expressed genes in Isl1 cKO retina revealed multiple genes involved in axon guidance, extracellular matrix-receptor interactions, and cell adhesion molecules.
