Gene expression profiling of human DLD-1 cells after instant depletion of TREX2 subunits
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We used the RNA-sequencing approach to distinguish the roles of TREX2 subunits in transcription, mRNA processing and RNA export. AID-mediated depletion of TREX2 subunits caused rapid changes in transcriptomic profiles and alternatively shaped cells’ transcriptomes. The transcriptomic changes associated with GANP and PCID2 loss appeared closely related. Meanwhile, the loss of ENY2 produced a distinctly different transcriptomic profile compared to the loss of GANP and PCID2. The loss of CETNs had minimal impact on the cell transcriptome.
