Integration of scRNA-seq and scATAC-seq reveals malignant characteristics of clear cell renal cell carcinoma with sarcomatoid differentiation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the most common histological type of kidney cancer. The appearance of spindle cell proliferation is generally considered as sarcomatoid differentiation. To further understand the malignant characteristics of this special histological type of ccRCC, it is a promising direction to study it at the level of genetics, cellular and molecular levels. In this study, we integrated scRNA-seq, scATAC-seq and WES analysis on a sample of sarcomatoid ccRCC, and discovered the characteristics of malignant progression. These findings provided a new reference for the diagnosis and treatment of ccRCC with sarcomatoid differentiation in the future.
