Mouse embryo limb bud regeneration
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Mouse embryos at the E10.5 stage display the ability to regenerate their limb buds, however this is quickly lost during embryogenesis . In the present study, we identified the E12.5 stage as the stage at which regeneration is lost. To deepen our understanding of the transcriptomic programs established during regeneration we generated microarray data from post-amputation tissues at E10.5 and E12.5 stages with a particular focus on early response to amputation observed at 1 and 3hpa. We believe this dataset will help understand how regeneration works in mammals as well as the key differences in a non-regenerative context.
