Diurnal variation of cellullar populations in mouse tongue epithelium
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We employed single-cell sequencing using 10x Genomics scRNA-seq to investigate circadian variations in cellular populations within the mouse tongue epithelium. This study demonstrates that circadian clock-regulated cell divisions lead to diurnal fluctuations in the population of type II taste cells in the tongues of nocturnal animals like mice.
