EV miRNA Profiles from Nipple Discharge, Intracystic Fluid, and Tumor Tissue Surface in Breast Cancer
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide, and nipple discharge (ND) is one of its major symptoms. In this study, we investigated extracellular vesicles (EVs) in ND as potential biomarkers. We developed novel EV collection methods using cellulose nanofiber (CNF) sheets, which capture EVs within the porous nanopaper and require only 10 microliters of liquid (Yokoi A, et al. Nat Commun. 2023;14(1):6915).
