CD74⁺ Myeloid Cells across Brain Pathologies
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: In this study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing data from immune cells isolated from the brain tissue of mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), multiple sclerosis (MS), and brain metastasis (BrM). Our findings reveal a shared transcriptional signature among CD74⁺ myeloid cells across these conditions, indicating a conserved inflammatory response that may be amenable to therapeutic targeting. These results highlight the role of CD74⁺ myeloid cells as a unifying component of the immune landscape in diverse neurological disorders and lay the groundwork for future investigations into targeted interventions aimed at mitigating these pathologies.
