Transcriptome profiling of CT26 cells and differentiated CT26 cells induced by forced expresssion of Myod1 or Pparg using RNA-sequencing.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The core proeprty of cancer cells is neural stemness, which determines tumorigenicity and pluripotency. Therefore, cancer cells can supposedly be induced to differentiate along different lineages. CT26 is a mouse colon cancer cell line. We found that CT26 cells differentiated into muscle- or adipocyte-like cells upon induction by muscle or adipocyte differentiation factor Myod1 or Pparg, respectively.
