The mechanism of growth-promoting bacteria Enterobacter sp. CS8-gfp enhancing the degradation of atrazine-thiamethoxam in rice plants

ABSTRACT: Plant-microbe interactions have been applied in the phytoremediation of pesticides to ensure food safety and reduce environmental health risks. However, the plant signaling molecules triggered by microbes to degrade pesticides remain unclear. Herein, we demonstrated that CS8-gfp, a growth-promoting strain, promoted degradation of two pesticides in rice plants. To better understand the the potential mechanisms, we provided the transcriptome of CS8-gfp inoculated/uninoculated rice using RNA sequencing (RNA-seq).
