3D imaging and single-cells analysis reveal cellular heterogeneity of lymphatic valve endothelial cell types

ABSTRACT: We have used single-cells transcriptomics to analyse the identity of lymphatic endothelial cells in adult dorsal skin. Lymphatic endothelial cells played an important role in skin homeostasis and protection. We showed that lymphatic vasculature has a highly organized architecture dependent to skin microenvironment. Our 3D imaging data associated to single-cells analysis revealed the importance of lymphatic valves in dermal lymphatic vascular network.
