Role lymphatic-derived neurotensin in pressure overload-induced cardiac damage
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Neuropeptide neurotensin (NTS) was found to be upregulated after induction of cardiac injury in cardiac lymphatic endothelial cells (LEC). We generated tamoxifen-inducible, LEC-specific NTS knockout mice and used scRNA-seq to understand the consequences of LEC-specific NTS deletion on cardiac remodeling 7 days after induction of pressure overload by transverse aortic constriction.
