Single-cell RNA-seq analysis of embryonic lung epithelial cells following club cell-specific deletion of Hes1
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data were generated from embryonic mouse lung tissues to investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating the binary cell fate decision between neuroendocrine (NE) and non-NE epithelial cells. During lung development, NE and club cells differentiate from a common progenitor, but the regulatory mechanisms controlling this process remain poorly understood. This study focused on the role of Hes1, a Notch pathway target gene, in maintaining club cell identity.
