Nutritional c-Fos Induction Rewires Hepatic Metabolism and Can Promote Obesity-Associated Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The transcription factor c-Fos plays an important role in hepatic metabolism. Previous studies implicated the c-Fos/AP-1 in steatohepatitis development and hepatocellular carcinoma formation. However, its role in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma remains to be illustrated. Here, we analyse the transcriptional consequences of adenovirus-mediated c-Fos silencing in the liver of young adult mice during 2 weeks by bulk RNA-seq.
