Gene expression profile in diet-induced HFpEF rat model

ABSTRACT: To investigate gene expression changes associated with the development of HFpEF and the preventive effects of pharmacological interventions against HFpEF onset, Wistar rats were administered N(G)-Nitro-L-arginine methyl ester, an inhibitor of nitric oxide synthase, and fed a high-fat diet for 8 weeks. Cardiac tissues were collected at the time of sacrifice.
