Gene Expression Changes Induced by Met-Enkephalin and β-Endorphin (1–9) in Rat Keratinocytes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To investigate the biological effects of β-END(1–9), DNA microarray analysis was performed using FRSK cells treated with β-END(1–9). Differential gene expression analysis revealed that Met-enkephalin and β-END(1–9) modulate a similar set of genes, suggesting that they may regulate cellular functions through a shared receptor.
