Dataset of transcriptional signature of the MAPK ERK5 in leiomyosarcoma

ABSTRACT: Sarcoma, and more specifically leiomyosarcoma, are pathologies with poor prognosis due to the lack of molecular targets and personalised therapeutic approaches. In this context, understanding the molecular bases of these tumors may enable new therapies. Our study investigates the ERK5 kinase activity mediated signaling by comparing RNASeq analysis for genetic inhibition. To do so, a couple of leiomyosarcoma cells lines were abrogated using specific shRNA for ERK5. Total RNA was extracted and sequenced in the DNBSEQ platform and analysed for differentially expressed genes between the conditions.
