ChIP and ATAC-seq data related to Rapid transcriptional response to a dynamic morphogen by time integration
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This study on blastoderm stage Drosophila embryos seeks to measure accessible chromatin and the enrichment on chromatin of transcription factors associated with BMP signaling (phospho-Mad, Medea) in either wild-type conditions, or in embryos mutant for the homeodomain transcription factor zerknullt (zen). The associated manuscript demonstrates that zen is a critical transcription co-activator that enables rapid responses to BMP signaling.
