DNA methylation profiles of hospitalized COVID-19 patients
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: DNA methylation plays a role in the pathogenesis of viral infections and disease progression. We aimed to explore its connection to the trajectories of COVID-19 disease. To achieve this, we examined samples from the IMPACC cohort, which includes hospitalized COVID-19 patients categorized into five disease trajectory groups (TGs) based on the dynamics and severity of respiratory symptoms during the acute phase of SARS-CoV-2 infection (the first 28 days).
