RNA-seq analysis of intestinal organoids to investigate the roles of Rnaseh2b and Atg16l1 in gene regulation
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This dataset contains RNA-seq profiles of intestinal organoids derived from wild-type, Rnaseh2b knockout, Atg16l1 knockout, and Rnaseh2b/Atg16l1 double knockout mice. Rnaseh2b deficiency is associated with DNA damage and tumorigenesis, while Atg16l1 loss impairs autophagy and has been implicated in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Interestingly, the double knockout mice did not develop tumors, suggesting a complex interaction between DNA damage and autophagy pathways. This transcriptomic dataset offering insights into the molecular crosstalk underlying intestinal homeostasis, inflammation, and tumor suppression.
