The Ly6Ghigh neutrophil subset occupying the early metastatic niche dictates breast cancer lung metastasis via cathelicidin-induced CD8+ T cell death_neutrophil

ABSTRACT: Lung metastasis is a leading cause of breast cancer (BC)-related mortality, driven by the immunosuppressive traits of the metastatic tumor microenvironment. However, the mechanisms underlying cell-cell crosstalk in shaping immune evasion within the metastatic niche remain poorly defined. Here, we try to decipher the interaction between the lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus G6Dhigh (Ly6Ghigh) neutrophil subset and cluster of differentiation 8+ T lymphocytes (CD8+ T cells), and their role in promoting pulmonary metastasis of BC.
