Fibrotic Liver-Derived Organoids Provide a Physiologically Relevant Model of Liver Fibrosis

ABSTRACT: We have performed a comparison of gene expression profiles between in vitro and in vivo liver fibrosis organoid models to assess their resemblance to in vivo fibrotic liver tissue and to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Sargassum japonica (S. japonica) on liver fibrosis.
