Genome-wide histone modifications of secondary hair follicle stem cell during cashmere growth [ChIP-Seq]
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To investigate the regulatory role of histone modifications in cashmere growth and development, we performed ChIP-seq targeting four key histone marks—H3K4me3, H3K27me3, H3K36me3 and H3K79me2 in isolated and cultured secondary hair follicle stem cells (SHFSCs) collected during early anagen and mid anagen phases. In parallel, RNA-seq was conducted on the same samples to profile transcriptomic changes. This study provides a genome-wide landscape of histone modifications in SHFSCs and identifies distinct epigenetic signatures associated with the transition from early to mid anagen.
