ABSTRACT: To assess epigenetic effects, Paneth cell–specific Nanopore sequencing was performed on germ-free (GF) and specific pathogen–free (SPF) mice. Our analysis reveals microbiome-driven changes in 5mC and 5hmC at key genetic loci involved in stemness regulation.
