Analysis of gene expression after CRISPR-mediated activation of TEDAR (LINC00302) lncRNA in primary human keratinocytes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are emerging as key regulators of epidermal differentiation. To investigate the function of the skin-enriched lncRNA TEDAR (LINC00302), we performed CRISPR-mediated activation in primary human keratinocytes and profiled global gene expression using the Affymetrix Clariom D Human microarray platform. Differential expression analysis demonstrated that TEDAR regulated genes involved in late epidermal differentiation and barrier formation.
