Regulation of Splicing by mec-8
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: MEC-8 splicing factor affects alternative splicing of many genes in neurons and other tissues of C. elegans. MEC-8 consists of two RRMs, and this experiment set out to test whether RRM1 and RRM2 are both required for regulation of MEC-8 targets, by comparing RRM-specific amino acid substitutions with null mec-8 mutants.
