ScRNA sequencing analysis of neutrophils and sphingolipid pathway during virus persistence
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: During lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) persistence, neutrophils were shown to be regulated, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. In this study, we have employed a scRNA analysis using bone marrow cells during LCMV infection. The experiment was conducted to define the possible role of sphingosine kinase 2 (SphK2) in neutrophil regulation upon LCMV infection. The findings may increase our understanding of viral mechanisms to regulate the host immunity and virus persistence.
