Transcriptomic profiling of LNCaP cells treated with enzalutamide, olaparib, or combination across multiple time points
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To explore the mechanisms underpinning the combinatorial effects of androgen pathway and PARP inhibition on global gene expression in prostate cancer, we performed RNA sequencing analysis in LNCaP prostate cancer cells. Cells were treated with either single agents or the combination, and transcriptomic changes were asssed at early (8 hours), intermediate (24 hours), and late (72 hours) timepoints to assess temporal dynamics of treatment response. Comparative analyses between single-agent and combination treatments enabled the characterisation of transcriptional programs induced by the combinatorial regimen.
