RNA-seq analysis of mouse aortic endothelial cells of angiotensin II hypertensive mice
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To explore the role of endothelial cells in hypertension, we developed an angiotensin II-induced mouse hypertension model. Eight-week-old C57BL/6 mice were anesthetized using 2% pentobarbital sodium, and osmotic pumps were subcutaneously implanted to deliver AngII at a constant rate of 1000 ng/kg/min over 14 consecutive days. Sham-operated mice underwent the identical procedure, with osmotic pumps containing 0.9% saline implanted subcutaneously instead. Subsequently, mouse aortic endothelial cells were isolated and subjected to RNA sequencing analysis.
