Transcriptomic response to corticosterone treatment in murine osteoblasts.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: To assess the transcriptomic response to corticosterone treatment in osteoblasts, we treated differentiated MC3T3 osteoblasts cells with 100 nM corticosterone for 24 hours. Comprehensive RNA-seq analysis was performed to identify differentially expressed genes and pathways associated with glucocorticoid receptor activation, osteoblast activity, and inflammatory responses. This study provides insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying corticosterone-mediated suppression of FGF23 expression and its broader effects on bone metabolism.
