Transcriptome analyses of Arabidopsis natural accessions Col-0 and IP-Svi-0 at different tempearatures

ABSTRACT: Plants are sessile organisms; thus they developed sophisticated endogenous mechanisms to detect and respond to various environmental cues . Our planet has diverse light and temperature conditions, to adopt in such a wide range of climatic conditions plants must have phenotypic plasticity. In addition to phenotypic plasticity plants also have variations in ontogenetic trajectory that results from genetic and epigenetic modifications leading to differential growth response to varying environment. To ensure successful adaptation and survivability in diverse climatic conditions a number of genetic polymorphisms are accumulated in various natural accessions of Arabidopsis. In this study, we investigated the reasons of photoperiod and temperature insensitive early flowering phenotype of San Vicente (IP-Svi-0) which was collected from San Vicente, Spain (Latitude: 43.39; Longitude: -7.39). Our RNA seq analysis showed decreased expression of MAF1-3 and 5
