ASNA1 CKO with XMCL-CRE+ E14.5 mouse heart RNAseq
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: ASNA1 (also known as TRC40) is a key component of the tail-anchored (TA) protein targeting pathway. To investigate its role in the heart, we generated cardiomyocyte-specific ASNA1 conditional knockout (ASNA1 CKO) mice. RNA-seq analysis was performed on E14.5 embryonic heart to identify transcriptional changes caused by ASNA1 deficiency. Our results reveal that ASNA1 is essential for maintaining the stability of TA proteins and regulating vesicular transport in cardiomyocytes, which are critical for normal cardiac development and function.
