Heterologous expression of the C-terminus of voltage gated sodium channel Nav1.2 in neuroblastoma N1E115 cells
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Transcriptional profile in neuroblastoma cells expressing a fusion protein between green fluorescent protein(EGFP) and amino acids 1778 to 2006 of mouse voltage-gated sodium channel alpha subunit NaV1.2 (uniprot id B1AWN6). Cells N15-115 expressing EGPF were use as control. Voltage-gated sodium channels alfa-subunit NaV1.2 has a nuclear localization signal in the C-terminus region. The aim of the experiment was to learn if heterologous expression of the NaV1.2CT was able to modify the overall mRNA expresion profile.
