ScRNA-seq Analysis of Dmp1cre-DTAki/wt and wt skin
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Utilizing the 10X Genomics Cell Ranger (Pipeline Version 3.1.0) platform, this study investigates the impact of osteocyte ablation on skin aging. Skin and bone share significant structural and molecular homology, including compositional architecture, cellular origins, and signaling pathways. Both tissues exhibit parallel degenerative changes during natural aging and under pathological conditions, characterized by collagen depletion leading to osteoporosis and skin atrophy. Through scRNA-seq analysis of skin following osteocyte knockout, our research provides novel insights into the regulatory role of osteocytes in skin aging.
