Spatial transcriptomics reveals distinct immune microenvironment characteristics between intestinal-type gastric cancer and paired normal gastric mucosa.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Gastric adenocarcinoma, particularly the Lauren intestinal-type GAC (IGAC), leads to significant mortality in China due to the limited effectiveness of current treatments. We performed spatial transcriptomics to profile heterogeneous immune cell clusters in IGAC and validated our findings using scRNA-seq. Our study aims to investigate the mechanisms of immune suppression in IGAC to identify potential targets for enhancing immunotherapy outcomes.
