Identification of a new subpopulation of myonuclei during skeletal muscle hypertrophy

ABSTRACT: We have employed a single nucleus sequencing approach using 10x Genomics snRNA-seq to study the process of skeletal muscle hypertrophy. We examined the plantaris muscle of control adult mice (Ctl) and adult mice after 7 days of induced overload (7OV). This study highlights a new subpopulation of myonuclei in the muscles of control and hypertrophied mice.
