Comparative transcriptomics of lateral hypothalamic cell types reveals conserved growth hormone-tachykinin dynamics in feeding
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The lateral hypothalamus (LH) is a highly heterogenous brain region regulating hunger and motivated behaviours. In zebrafish, the LH exhibits distinct neural activity across hunger, feeding and satiety staes. In this study, we have generated a zebrafish LH transcriptomic dataset to profile cellular diversity and molecular signatures underlying feeding behaviour.
