Bulk RNA-seq of rat sciatic nerve distal to crush after magnetic nanoparticle–mediated magnetic force stimulation

ABSTRACT: To explore the effect of magnetic mechanical force mediated by magnetic nanoparticles in a gradient magnetic field environment on the repair phenotype of Schwann cells in injured sciatic nerves, we established a rat sciatic nerve crush injury model and locally injected magnetic nanoparticles under the epineurium at the distal end of the crush site.

DLK-gated responses in motoneurons following sciatic nerve crush

Project description:To profile downstream gene-expression changes regulated by DLK, we profiled motoneurons in the lumbar spinal cord using RiboTag, following sciatic nerve crush in both control and Dlk conditional knockout (Dlk ΔMN) mice. We found that DLK regulates the expression of many secreted proteins, which have the potential to influence the behavior of other cells, including the immune system.
