HZL-1 CLIP-Seq in AMPK mutant and daf-2 dauer
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: C. elegans lacking AMPK do not exhibit reproductive defects during normal growth, but when passaged through dauer, exhibit germline hyperplasia and premature spermatogenesis, followed by complete sterility post-dauer (Narbonne and Roy, Development, 2006). Loss of a novel RNA helicase HZL-1 suppresses these phenotypes. We sought to carry out carry out a CLIP-Seq to determine what RNAs, if any, are bound by HZL-1 in the absence of AMPK in the dauer stage.
