Analysis of differential expression of circular RNAs between psoriatic lesional tissues and healthy skin tissues
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by abnormal keratinocyte proliferation and immune dysregulation. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have emerged as important regulators of gene expression in various diseases, but their expression patterns and potential roles in psoriasis remain incompletely understood. In this study, we performed circular RNA sequencing on lesional skin tissues from 3 psoriasis patients and normal skin tissues from 2 healthy individuals. The identified DEcircRNAs, particularly circLDLR, may serve as promising diagnostic biomarkers or therapeutic targets for psoriasis.
