Transcriptome profiling of 95D cells in response to glucose or glutamine deprivation.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This experiment was designed to identify genes and long non-coding RNAs transcriptionally upregulated in response to metabolic stress. Human lung cancer cell line 95D was cultured in complete medium, glucose-free medium, or glutamine-free medium. Total RNA was then extracted for library preparation and sequencing to compare the transcriptomic profiles across these conditions. The data were used to identify robustly induced genes under nutrient stress.
