Single cell and Spatial RNA-seq in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma with Different Stage

ABSTRACT: To investigate the dynamic changes in the tumor microenvironment during the progression of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), we collected 16 treatment-naïve OSCC samples for single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Among these, 6 cases were additionally subjected to spatial transcriptomic profiling to capture the tissue architecture and spatial organization of the tumor microenvironment.

Project description:Oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) is one of the most common precancerous malignant orders (PMO) with high rates exacerbating into oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), mostly occurred in patients with chewing betel-nut habits in Southeast Asia and Pacific region. However, the spatial characteristics and heteogeneities of tumor microenvironment (TME) in OSF-associated OSCC still remains unclear.
