Ascertaining the effect of switching deregulated Myc OFF in KRasG12D/MycER-driven mouse lung tumors
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The mechanisms by which inhibition of an oncogenic driver induces tumour regression and tissue resolution is unclear. In an autochthonous mouse model of lung adenocarcinoma driven by oncogenic Kras and deregulated Myc cooperation, we initiated acute loss of Myc exclusively in the tumour epithelial cells to identify the sequence of events and crosstalk in a tumour and its attendent microenvironement in the first 24 hours of tumour regression.
