Whole transcriptome analysis in obstetric antiphospholipid syndrome

ABSTRACT: This study aims to investigate the expression profiles of coding and non-coding RNA in OAPS, thereby deepening our understanding of the potential mechanisms of OAPS. Plasma samples were collected from 3 OAPS patients and 3 healthy controls. Then, exosomes were separated by differential ultracentrifugation. The transcriptome of purified exosomes was comprehensively analyzed using the Illumina sequencing platform. Exosomal messenger RNA (mRNA), long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), and circular RNA (circRNA) were identified using a threshold of |log2 (fold change)| ≥ 1 and P < 0.05.
