Telomere damage enhances immunogenicity of neuroblastoma and accelerates response to anti-PD-L1 treatment

ABSTRACT: In human neuroblastoma cell lines, absence of baseline cGAS expression and lack of cGAS induction upon stimulation by cytosolic DNA has been reported, whereas the functionality of the cGAS-STING pathway in primary neuroblastoma has remained uncertain. To assess whether cGAS-STING pathway may be active in human neuroblastoma, we analyzed CGAS expression in primary tumor samples and compared it with that in human neuroblastoma cell lines.
