Transcriptomic response to PE-induced hypertrophy upon RBP1 knockdown in neonatal rat cardiomyocytes
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: This dataset provides a comprehensive transcriptomic profile to investigate the role of Retinol Binding Protein 1 (RBP1) in phenylephrine (PE)-induced cardiac hypertrophy. RBP1 acts as a central homeostatic regulator of intracellular retinol , yet its specific function in pathological mechanisms of hypertrophic cardiomyocytes remains incompletely defined. To elucidate this, we performed RNA sequencing on neonatal rat cardiomyocytes (NRCMs) subjected to RBP1 knockdown followed by PE stimulation.
